Squishy Slime Family Fun Day - 27th July

Squishy Slime Family Fun Day - 27th July

Recap of the day!

Just thought that I would try and do a blog post about the craft fair yesterday. The day started at 9am where I loaded up the car with my new 6ft table, chair and stock with the help from hubby. The drive over to Brill took a lot longer than planned as there was a Road closure that I wasn't expecting.

I turned up at Brill Memorial Hall at 10.40am and was greeted with hello's from other stall holders. It is so good to see some familiar faces at these events as it tends to help with my nerves. Then as I was trying to find my space in the hall (after a good catch up!) I was greeted by the lovely Gina who runs the event. She was very friendly and welcoming as always.

After some time trying to get the table cloth on straight, I was ready to start putting out my stock and spending some time making sure everything was priced with the small chalkboards. I was keen to make sure that everything was visible with different heights.

TOP TIP: I store my stock in plastic/sandwich boxes with a label, that way when I am packing or unpacking I can stay organised. Makes it a lot easier.

After just under an hour and grabbing some content for socials, I was ready to start selling! Little pic of my table below:

Once I had grabbed some content I sat down and had a bite to eat while editing ready to post later. Then all of a sudden it was 12pm ready to start selling! The start of the day was super busy, lots of families turned up in the first 2 hours for the slime making which was great to see. After that the amount of people turning up slowed down a bit but it was still busy.

Yesterday, I did make a few sales and also sold the purple flower bag which you can see in the bottom right corner of the pic. I would say that the most popular item was the phone wristlets, I sold 3 yesterday. This included a custom one I made.

Overall I would say that the day was a success and it was lovely seeing some familiar faces. Can't wait for the next Banana Twist Event on 31st August in Haddenham.

I will do some more updates to the website this week and give an update on my next fair on Sunday 3rd August at Frost Garden Centre Woburn Sands.

Have a good week! Lyndsey :)
