Shop Local Street - 3rd August

Rewind!

Just a little late with this blog post but better late than never. Shop local street was an all day event. The day started at 8.15am where I loaded up the car with table, chair and stock. As this was at Frost Garden Centre it was a lot closer for me so not a lot of travel. 

I turned up at Frost Garden Centre just after 8.30am and was greeted by Annabel who helps make sure that all of the stall holders are okay and have enough space. Then it was time to set up. 

This time I tried a slightly different way of setting up by having all of my keyrings on the wooden stand. Here is the picture of it all set up:

This time I also had another new item, I ordered myself some new branded merch. I ordered myself a lovely white hoodie and pale pink tshirt from another small business called Jen's Little T.

I took a lot longer than normal to set up the table as I was trying lots of different displays plus I was having a chat too! Once I had set up the table, I only had 10mins to take a couple of photos, ready for opening at 10.30am.

As this was an all day event, I was selling until 4.15pm. I always like going to the Garden Centre as it is always busy and there is also a nice farm shop and restaurant on site. Another great thing about this venue is that they have unlimited tea and coffee for stall holders in one of the centres. 

There were quite a few sales that were spread throughout the day. I really enjoyed the day and the most popular item was bookmarks.

 I am now going to start working on a collection for Halloween.
